| Heads Up. CyberConVA 2026 Lands February 12, 2026 in Richmond, Virginia | 2026-02-02 18:11 |
Since its inception in 2023, the Conference has built a reputation for delivering programs that address the biggest cyber challenges and opportunities faced by senior cybersecurity management. The program planning team was led by Bob Austin, KoreLogic's President. We are delighted with the diverse lineup of experts joining us this year covering 17 sessions. Here are a few examples:
- The Identity Threat Panel features speakers from the Mitsubishi Bank of Tokyo (the fifth-largest bank in the world); the OpenID Foundation (Chair and the Co-Chair of the Shared Signals Working Group); SGNL that provides an advanced continuous identity solution, and Health (the foremost authority in the world on shared signals & continuous authentication).
- Permission to Think: AI and the Art of Intelligence: Rather than focusing on how to use AI, this session focuses on how to think with it: calibrating trust, interrogating assumptions, and retaining ethical responsibility when machine outputs influence high-stakes calls.
- The AI-augmented Cyber Defense Panel: Since last year's
Conference, AI-augmented cyber defense continues to evolve at
breakneck speed including security agents that can be empowered to
act autonomously. Our panel will share their real world AI
experience with:
- Setting Achievable Expectations on Value and ROI such as identifying where to augment current security capabilities.
- Areas of Fit including build vs buy and areas where AI can struggle.
- Agentic AI Augmentation: how to assess the insider threat risk posed by agents as "digital employees."
- Then Conference has moved to a very cool venue: the Museum of Science.
- Richmond! If you have never been to Richmond, come check out a city that has high growth technology & cyber community; is home to multiple Fortune 500 firms; fast-growing startups, and multiple local universities.
